Statement of Purpose

Africa Development Experts International (ADE-Intl) was created for the following reasons:

  • Pool local/regional expertise together to facilitate the participation of African stakeholders in the international and regional development industry.
  • Design and implementation of donor-funded programs/projects in the priority development sectors at country and regional levels
  • Facilitate transfer of public and private international investment resources to high-potential growth areas and to where needs are most acute 
  • Design and implementation of donor-funded programs/projects in the priority development sectors at country and regional levels 
  • Support good governance, public/private partnership, institutional capacity building, and leadership development, all contributing to more effective development assistance.

Targeted Sectors of Intervention

ADE-Intl targets the following areas of intervention:

  1. Food Security and Nutrition
  2. Livelihoods/Resilience Strengthening
  3. Market Systems and Trade Development
  4. Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation
  5. Environment Protection/Impact assessment
  6. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
  7. Business Incubation and Scaling-up, especially the women or youth-owned enterprises.

Based on opportunities and the availability of expertise, ADE-Intl will consider implementing programs related to institutional capacity building including integrated information systems, leadership development, and Program/Project design/implementation/Management.

The Way We Do Business

During the development phase, ADE-Intl will prioritize the following mechanisms to grow and develop in the consultancy and project implementation industries: 

  1. Bidding on ADE-Intl on national and African regional tenders within our sectoral focus areas 
  2. Teaming up with INGOs and consulting firms to bid on national and African regional projects/programs, increasingly as prime as the company gains more visibility and stature
  3. Establishing business partnerships with other African consulting firms, particularly in countries with no permanent presence.
  4. Contacts with experts from other African countries will be maintained for expansion to other regions as opportunities arise.
